New footings and underpinning, set out and poured
Foundations are the part of a build nobody sees and everything depends on. Get the footings or underpinning wrong and every problem shows up years later, in cracks and movement above ground.
We excavate, set out and pour new footings for extensions and new builds, and carry out underpinning where an existing structure needs strengthening — all to the structural engineer’s design and signed off by building control.
Footings, set out to spec
We excavate to the right depth, set out to the structural design, and pour footings that give the build a sound, level base — the groundwork that decides how everything above it behaves.
Underpinning existing structures
Where an existing foundation needs strengthening — for a heavier extension, or to address movement — we underpin in a controlled sequence, keeping the structure supported and compliant throughout.
